' Road Religion is a nationwide brotherhood, riding together and sharing stories, scheming to add a sense of purpose and meaning to the lives of our people by experiencing life, aka. Motorcycles.
What We Do?
-
Weekly meetup rides in whichever city we're in (Dharamshala, H.P for now), where we converse about anything and everything over a warm cup of chai and breakfast. We thought of calling this 'The Breakfast Run', but that name's already taken. Any suggestions?

-
Bi-monthly intercity/interstate rides accompanied by a 'GPS' who will lead you to interesting people doing interesting things in interesting places with the aim of potentially inspiring you. These are 2-3 day all inclusive rides, and you just need your bike, fuel and clothes to join in.

-
We're also planning longer rides to further localities to increase the experience of our rides manifold. We'll update you as soon as we get the ball rolling.
Our Story
Initiated by two brothers & riders in arms, the thought came one lazy Sunday morning in the Northern parts of this country. One of the brothers was cleaning his brand new Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 with a micro fiber he had recently bought, speaking on call with the other brother who basked in front of the mighty Dhauladhar mountains in the Himalayan town of Dharamshala with a beer in his hand.

"Me aaj subah ride pe gayaa tha."
"Kaisi rahi?"
"Majaa aaya. Tu kya kar raha hai?"
"Beer pi raha hun"
"Delhi aaja bhai, kuchh saath mein karte hain. Kab tak pahadon mein baitha rahega?"
"Delhi aake kya karu? Wahi same jagah harr Sunday, wahi do log, wahi same ride."
"Baat toh sahi keh raha hai. Bohot karli aisi rides... Bhai. Idea. Ek brotherhood banaate hain. We'll do rides across the country, traveling to the most untouched places, meeting and sharing stories with people along the way who are doing something special, and leave the place untouched, spick and span. All on our motorcycles."
"Bhai. Zyaada nahi ho gaya?"
"We'll call the group Road Religion Humaari values hongi - 'Meaningful, Experiential & Responsible-'
"Pressure mat daal yaar. Sunday hai..."
"Bakwas na kar, chup chaap Delhi aaja."
"Hmmm... A brotherhood that rides together, meets the most inspiring people, explores and experiences travel and life through motorcycles... And has beer together?"
"Yeah yeah, whatever..."
"Tu yeh writeup ready kar, I'm on my way."

And that was the official initiation of Road Religion motorcycle Club.
Our Values
-
First & Foremost, a brotherhood. Most biking clubs are, and we are too. Because a motorcycle connects you with your deeper self. It connects you with yourself, and with the guy riding beside you. Be conscious of this feeling the next time you're revving with another rider on an open stretch. You'll feel a bond. This is the first breath of a Brotherhood. Not sure if this is a value or a belief, but this is WHO WE ARE.

-
Meaningful. We're driven to establish a sense of purpose and meaning in the individual lives of this brotherhood. Motorcycles are already doing half the work, and we share responsibility for the other 49%. The remaining 1% is what you add by keeping your hearts open.

-
Experiential. Each of us is a self-trained screen junky and has spent significant time consuming passive entertainment these last few lockdown years. The more studious of the lot have spent time reading books and educating themselves on different subjects. It's time now to switch gears to a more experiential mode of learning. Let's go out, meet people and ride motorcycles. (Don't get too stuck on the 'learning' word, we're talking about cool stuff here)

-
Responsible. We're not tourists. Every place and friend that we visit on our trips, we take full responsibility to be graceful and respectful with our ways. Yes, we're all wild underneath and love a beer or two on a bright summer day, but this is non-negotiable. Graceful and Respectful to people, their surroundings, and nature.
